MLA's son thrashed in road rage case

Balrampur: In an apparent case of road rage, a son of BSP MLA was beaten up by three men after his vehicle hit their motorcycle, police said today.

Mahendra, son of BSP legislator from Ekauna-- Ram Sagar Akela, was dragged out from his vehicle and thrashed by the men, leaving him injured. The three were angry as Mahendra's vehicle had accidentally hit their motorcycle at Ambedkar trisection, police said.

A case was later lodged with the Kotwali police. A manhunt has a been launched to arrest the culprits, police added.
