Fake notes seized near Rourkela

Rourkela: Two fake notes with a face value of Rs 1000 each have been seized at Rajgangpur near here, police said today.

A search was on to arrest two persons who had offered the fake notes for buying tickets at a cinema hall, the police said.

Suspecting the notes to be fake, a man at a ticket counter of a cinema hall drew the attention of the manager who in turn informed the police.

By the time the police arrived, the two persons Md. Supian and Md. Irfan had left the place, the police said.
