New Delhi: A warmer and foggy morning greeted Delhiites today as the mercury settled at 8.4 degrees Celsius, one point above normal minimum temperature during this time of the season.
The season s lowest temperature was experienced on January 2 when the minimum temperature plummeted to four degrees Celsius.
However, the minimum temperature was recorded at 8.3 degrees Celsius yesterday while the maximum was recorded at 20 degrees Celsius, Met department said.
There was a dense fog in the morning also reducing the visibility range to less than 50 metres. Flights operations at the Indira Gandhi Airport (IGI) were disrupted with 15 flights, both from domestic and international carriers, delayed while 10 others had to be cancelled.
The Met department said the maximum temperature will hover around 19 degrees while the minimum temperature will be around seven degrees Celsius tomorrow. Source : PTI
