Sonepat: Police today claimed to have arrested two persons in connection with the alleged dacoity committed by them in the power house of the Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (UHBVN) at Aterna village in this district recently.
Police said thearrested persons were identified as Om Parkash of Bullandshahar (Uttar Pardesh) and Parkash of Meerut (Uttar Pardesh). Both the culprits had committed the dacoity and looted Rs 5,200 in cash and a mobile phone from the employees on duty and copper wier worth about Rs 8 lakh kept there.
Futther investigations were still in progress and more arrests are likely to be made in this connection.
