Lucknow: A naxalite was arrested from Sonbhadra district of the state with detonators and jiletene rods, a senior police official said here today.

Ram Kumar Urao, of Jharkhand was arrested yesterday on a tip off from Sonbhadra alongwith 30 jiletene rods and 10 detonators, Additional Director General Law and Order, Brijlal told reporters here.

During interrogation, Unrao revealed that he wanted to blow up a BSNL tower in Gadhwa district of Jharkhand, he said.

He also wanted to target police vehicles, the ADG added.
