New Delhi: Temperatures continued to remain above normal in Delhi and light rainfall was expected Saturday that can lead to a foggy weekend, according to the weather office.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the minimum temperature recorded early Saturday was 7.9 degree Celsius, a degree above normal.

"But the forecast is that Delhi will mostly see cloudy skies today and there is a possibility of light rainfall too," an IMD official said.

"And if it rains, you may expect heavy fog on Sunday," the official added.

The maximum temperature for the day will hover around 18 degree Celsius.
