Puducherry: Arudhra Darshan has been celebrated in Saivite temples at various shrines in Puducherry this morning.
Devotees made a beeline before the temples from early morning to worship the utsava murthi of Lord Nataraja and his consort Sivagamasundari and the occasion was marked by special abishegams and aradhanas.
Sri Ganagasabai Swamigal the Head of the Sri Ambalathadayar Math here performed abishegams and aradhanas to the deity and was accompanied by nadaswaram recital by local experts.
Processional deities were taken round the main parts of the town yesterday.
