Jammu: District Magistrate Udhampur has directed firearm holders to get details of their arms and licenses registered with the police station concerned within fifteen days.
The Udhampur District Magistrate Ajay Khajuria issued the order under section 144 Criminal Procedure Code yesterday, official sources said here today.
The step has been taken to keep a check on illegal firearms, they said.
