Sample this: On his first day at work, the superintendent and deputy superintendent of Srinagar's biggest Lal Ded maternity hospital were replaced in minutes after the CM made a surprise visit to take stock of its functioning, giving jitters to his security.
Omar on his way to Srinagar airport when he suddenly stopped his cavalcade and barged into the hospital leaving his security high and dry. He went round various sections of the hospital and was dissatisfied with what he saw.
He was surrounded by many attendants who complained of lack of facilities. Angry Omar immediately ordered the replacement of the superintendent and deputy superintendent. "His visit has shaken the whole administration because he is the first CM to visit us without prior notice.
