New Delhi: JD(U), an ally of NDA, today sought to distance itself from the controversy created over the statement of former Vice-President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat that he wants to contest the Lok Sabha elections.
"It is an internal matter of BJP and not the NDA," JD(U) chief Sharad Yadav, who is also the acting convenor of NDA, told reporters here.
