Dehra Dun: Intense cold conditions continued to prevail in Uttarakhand with the sky remaining clear.
The residents will get no respite from the cold in the next couple of days, the Met office said today adding, both the hilly and plain areas of the state are reeling under the intense cold conditions.
The minimum temperature of the state capital hovered between 6 and 7 degree celsius and it may remain the same for the next couple of days, Met Director Anand Kumar Sharma said.
Normal life was affected by the cold as people are forced to stay indoors throughout the day and night.
