New Delhi: Reliance Industries chief Mukesh Ambani met senior BJP leader LK Advani here on Saturday.

Ambani's meeting with Advani lasted for about thirty minutes, party sources said.

Details of the meeting were not immediately available.

Sources close to Advani said it was a routine call on by Ambani ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.

On November 20 last year, Advani had called a meeting of industry captains to deliberate upon the impact of the global meltdown on the domestic economy which was attended by Mukesh Ambani, Anil Ambani, Kumarmangalam Birla, Rahul Bajaj, Nusli Wadia among others.
