Paris: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh arrived here Monday on a landmark visit that will see India and France signing a civil nuclear cooperation pact and two other agreements.

Manmohan Singh will meet President Nicolas Sarkozy Tuesday and hold talks on a range of bilateral and global issues. Three pacts, including one on social security for Indian workers here and one on peaceful uses of outer space, will be signed during the short visit.

The prime minister arrived here after attending the day-long India-EU summit in the French port town of Marseille.
