Srinagar: At least four policemen, including two special police officers (SPOs), were injured when militants carried out a grenade attack on a police station in Bandipora district of Jammu and Kashmir, a police spokesman said today.
A hand grenade hurled by militants exploded in Sumbal police station last night injuring two SPOs and equal number of constables of the police station, the spokesman said.
The injured cops have been rushed to a hospital and condition of all of them was stated to be stable, he said.
So far, no militant outfit has claimed responsibility for the act but police has launched a man hunt to nab the militants.
