Even as reports of Shiney Ahuja being ragged by other inmates in Arthur Road jail surfaced, the actor and rape accused was shifted to a separate barracks on Friday night. Jail authorities, however, rubbished the news of Shiney being ragged. "Shiney Ahuja was shifted to a separate barracks at around 9.30 or 10pm on Friday for security reasons," said a jail official, requesting anonymity. Shiney is currently in judicial custody for allegedly raping his maid last Sunday.

According to jail sources, Shineys wife Anupam visited the jail at around 3pm on
Saturday and was allowed to meet him at around 3.15pm. Half an hour later, she left the premises.

The official added that Shiney is eating jail food and hasnt received home-cooked food so far. Saturday was being looked as the day when gangster, Abu Salem, would come face-to-face with Shiney, who portrayed a character based on Salem in the film, Gangster, but it didnt happen.

"Shiney didnt go for breakfast in the common corridor, the place where all the inmates eat together," said the official. He added that while Shiney Ahuja is in barracks number one, Salem is in barracks number 10.
