Pune: An ATM machine containing over Rs 10 lakh cash was stolen today from Kasarwadi area at Pimpri near here, police said.
The Union Bank machine, located at a cross section, had registered its last transaction in the afternoon with a cash withdrawal of Rs 500, after which customers were greeted by an empty cabinet which housed the ATM, they said.
The ATM was apparently transported in a stand-by vehicle after its removal from the booth, police said.
