Head: Fat pay packets attract many people
The tag 'city of dream' suits the city as it gives people opportunities which other cities don't. I have been living here from the last two years. During the last six months, I have seen many people from small towns moving into this city with dreams in their eyes. Most dreams do come true in this city. People from other towns and even remote villages come here to earn a better livelihood. Eight hours of work pays more here than any other place. Other than pay packages, even the lifestyle is good. One can do a lot with the recreational time - there are plays and workshops. The only thing that upsets me is the fact that we have a wide rich-poor divide. We can see people in Ferraris and people sleeping on the roads simultaneously. The government needs to do something about it. I don't think I'll like to move out of the city right now. Maybe later, I would like to settle down in other cities like Pune or Ahmedabad, which have a laidback lifestyle.

Head: Mumbai has energy and dynamism, which no city offers
I have always lived in a culturally-rich and embracing milieu and I find that Mumbai offers the same to people in general. There are some pockets which aren't all that accepting. But Mumbai still offers the best opportunities to people who are willing to work hard and deal with hardships, which come naturally with the decision to live in Mumbai.
I feel that Mumbai has energy and dynamism. Any city which offers such opportunities like this city will attract migrants, who will come seeking better opportunities. While I may choose to live and work, I wouldn't like my children to grow up here. It's a great city to make a career, but not to settle down. I would like to stay in a place where there are parks and greenery.
