Three booked for dowry death

Tilak Nagar police have registered a case of dowry death against three people of a family from Chembur. Anila Chedda, 36, allegedly committed suicide on Sunday after a quarrel with her in laws.
According to the police, Chedda had a fight with her in laws on Sunday morning. On learning about the fight, Chedda's brother Narendra Dhanaji asked one of his cousins, Geeta, to speak to her. When Geeta called her around 2:30pm, Chedda claimed that everything was fine. However, around 4pm Dhanaji received a call from Chedda's mother-in-law saying that they were admitting her to Rajawadi Hospital as she was unwell.
On reaching there, Dhanaji and his family were told that Chedda was dead. Police did not find any injury marks on the deceased's body.
