Bhopal: Mystery surrounds the death of a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) youth wing leader whose body was found Thursday at his house in Madhya Pradesh's Gwalior city with a bullet wound in his head, police said Friday.
Bunty Parmar (25), district president of the Bharatiya Janta Yuva Morcha (BJYM), had gone to his residence-cum-office at Garden Homes Apartment after receiving a call around 7.30 a.m. Thursday.
Residents of the area heard gunshots around 10.30 a.m. and informed police, who found Parmar lying in a pool of blood with a bullet wound in his head. The loaded pistol of Parmar's brother was found lying at the spot.
Police sent the body for post-mortem after registering a case.
"We are taking the help of experts to ascertain whether it was a case of murder or Parmar committed suicide. We are also looking into the SMS and call details from his phone and hope to reach a conclusion soon," Gwalior Superintendent of Police Sai Manohar told IANS.
