Sanjaya Baru is an economist and economic journalist. He is currently
at the Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations, and a columnist for several publications. He is former Associate Editor, The Economic Times (India), Business and Economics Editor and Editorial Page Editor (The Times of India). He has also been a TV anchor and has hosted "Business Agenda" (Star TV) and "Crossfire" (Doordarshan).
