The elections to the post of President were held in New Delhi (Parliament) and rest of the states on July 15. National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and Congress supported Dr A P J Abdul Kalam is expected to score a landslide win against Left parties' nominee Captain Lakshmi Sehgal.
