Mr Advani can you please take charge?

The Gujarat incident has once again exposed India's weakness when dealing with cross-border terrorism. After every such incident the only thing the spokesperson has to say is "This is our LAST warning. Don't try anything again." This message has been repeated so often that it has become more of a stupid joke.
For heaven's sake, can we learn from Israel? The Isrealis have the courage to face the situation and they solve it on their own without taking permission from other countries. After all why do we need permission from the United States (US) or the United Nations (UN) to guard our own citizens and borders?
Mr Vajpayee has indeed served the country in various capacities for a long time. But for the present volatile world, we need someone like L K Advaniji to be in the hot seat to take the right decisions for safe guarding the interests of the country.
Our beloved PM Vajpayeeji did the right thing by promoting Advaniji as Deputy PM. Advanjiji doesn't mince words; he means what he says and vice versa. He took the right stand against Mamta Banerjee, while the PM was busy with his dinner diplomacy to placate her.
The biggest problem with India is its politicians. They are never united, even during crisis. What was the need for Congress to call for a 'bandh' on Sept 25? Why is VHP calling for a 'national bandh' on Sept 26? The right way to respond to Pakistan is to keep the country "working". We need to show to Pakistan that we won't be bogged down by its cowardly acts of terrorism.
The National Security Guards (NSG) did an outstanding job in flushing the terrorists within few hours. However, can the government look into equipping the NSG commandos for "today's" war? How many of these commandos were wearing GOOD quality of bullet proof vests? I think if the commando who lost his life was better protected, he might have been alive today. The problem with our politicians is that they will quickly forget this brave commando, they may not even reward his family for the sacrifice
It's high time India crosses the border and teaches Pakistan a lesson. And for this to happen, we need Advaniji at No 1, Race Course Road, otherwise we will lose out in this race!
