Let us focus energies on clean India campaign
By Rahul Chavan
I was really surprised to know the way some of us behaved, when we
saw our cricket team losing. Once I had a feeling that the illiterates,
the unemployed and the poor don't have strength to revolutionise
India. But this incident has proved that we all Indians have lot
of potential.
Just think if the same strength and energy is used in bringing down
our dirty politics. The idea itself thrills me!
Have you ever read about the Clean Politics Campaign? On May 2,
2002 - the Supreme Court of India ruled that candidates contesting Parliamentary or Assembly elections must disclose all their
criminal details. All the political parties unanimously rejected
the SC ruling on various unworthy grounds. I am sure until we do
not stop these criminals from ruling our country we aren't safe.
Raise your voice for the betterment of India. Dear Indians it will
really help us! Cricket is not our bread and butter, but yes
building a better India should be our mission. This may not yield
fruits so soon, but surely it will help for our coming
generations.
