Indian Envoys abroad, a shame to the nation

Definitely we need more visible Ambassadors and with impeccable integrity. There are so many Ambassadors from small countries that are highly visible in the media, why can't our Ambassadors do the same. They must sell India, go and meet business leaders instead of just sitting in the Embassy. The Indian government should set them targets and ask them to fulfil them or else withdraw the Ambassadors. – Gautam Sinha

I'm a true Indian citizen, I love my country and I have been an asset to my country for the past 20 years. I have been remitting hard currency to my country's trailing foreign currency reserve.

My opinion about ministers and the Prime Minister, Chief Ministers of states and state ministers is very negative due to their negligent way of dealing with the people of India. Let alone the internal arrangement, let us talk about the Ambassadors who represent India the biggest Democracy of the world are also of the same category.

I appeal to the media and the non-government organisations (NGOs) to protest against nominating corrupt officials as Ambassadors of India to foreign countries. The image of India has been brought down to rock bottom by these unethical Ambassadors particularly those who are in the Gulf countries.

They are hurry for making their fortune in three years time. They never carry out the job that has been assigned to them but they behave like dictators with our own Indian citizens, majority of whom are technicians and labourers.

But when the so called Ambassador talks with the Arab nationals, it will be like a slave begging his master. By hook or crook they want to make money ant that seems to be their main aim. The trade relationship is very bleak between the biggest markets of GCC states and India because of the lack of initiatives being taken by our so called Ambassadors.

I appeal to our Prime Minister to choose some one who has seen wealth right from childhood to assume office of Ambassadors. Nazar pasha, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
