It's Pandit Nehru's idea Mr Chandrababu Naidu

It is very surprising to read how Chandrababu Naidu is almost claiming that linking Ganga-Cauvery is his idea. I am not sure how many Indians are aware that Pundit Jawaharlal Nehru wanted all the rivers to be linked during his PM days itself. Anyway, I will be more than happy to give credit to Naidu if he gets the job done.
Politicians have a lot of money to be made if this project takes off. Can you imagine how many contractors will be bribing our patriotic politicians to win this project? At least for the sake of their own financial interest I hope the politicians will approve this project.
It is very frustrating to see Northern and North Eastern parts of the country drowning and Southern India dying for water. Can't our politicians have that much commitment to solve this?
