Dear Sir,
I agree with the VHP that the policy of appeasement of the muslims should come to an end. They asked for Pakistan and they got it. How many Pakistans should be there to satisfy these fanatics?

As that fundamentalist is calling for Kashmir, now whole of India
represented by the President and P/M should simply say: Give us our land the whole of "Undivided India" of 1946 and then that zealot would dig a grave and bury himself. Rather we may have to do as Indians.
I know this is impossible, but I wish that our leaders should fight on this and screw them up teaming up with Isreali intelligence so that Pakis will never dare to talk b.s.

To me, I never live in a dream land.
How do our politicians and even media believethat by talk india would get pok. No way, forget such senseless dreams- just be happy with what indai has and let also, pakistan be happy with what they have while it has been clear to india more than once that india has no adequate power to get the same by force either. Such statements are just poll gimmicks of naidus. Talks with pakistan woud just help the relations going 'hot and cold' with some business gains and some relief in border intrusions. That's all.

Togadia now thinks he is bigger than the Saints. Sankaracharya is a respected saint venered by millions. Togadia is a meglomaniac who likes the sound of his voice. He should realise the fact that he is a mouse compared to the sankaracharya.

It was golden opportunity to strike militants but as usual all messed up by police and politicains.

Ma'am/Sir,
What a brave Defence Minister we have!! I must say Mr George Fernandes is a huge relief from some of the buffoons we've had in Defence in the past. First, his Siachen visit was a path-breaker. Then came his Submarine voyage. Now, he's flown in a Sukhoi-30 Fighter aircraft. Yup, that requires guts!! Er.....why not the MIG-21, Minister??

I personally appreciate the meeting of two great nations in Asia. This will bring stability and development of the region, I hope. This meeting is important to Burma as well.
I've noticed that India government has declined to support human rights in the region and the democracy movement of Burma. To enhence developments of this region, India should consider every problems of the region. Many Burmese regret that India as a great nation is incapable of a leadership role in the region about all round development.
I acknowledge that both India and China had great influence culturally and economically in the past of this region that took great effect on development of past Burma and the region. I know that both countries have strong and significant potential. Unfortunately, both are very insignificant in building up better Burma but enormous support of Burma's brutal regime. The problem is both countries have had no intention of making the region into stable and peaceful but obstacles of this development.
I strongly support this meeting of the two great nations. However, the result is far more important for me and the region.
Sincerely
Min K Kyaw
Something is wrong.
I can't explain it - but something is very wrong. I'm a former agonstic, and current atheist, and something is wrong. It could be a dream based on averages, or something odd - but something feels wrong. I just dreamed of millions of deaths of the most horrific kind.
Someone wake me up or tell me I'm skeptical of the ambitions of a group that has waged war on their neighbor several times in the last 40 years, but something is seriously wrong today.

I always thought the electronic media was truthful. But your news is far from the truth since it is one sided. You have never contacted the people involved and got their side of the story before publishing any kind of news on the relevant subject. Can this be called good journalism by any strech of imagination?According to me the best and the least best in the electronic media are thriving on dark yellow journalism.I do not think this is a healthy sign for a great Democracy of India. With reference to indiainfo article dated 20/6/03 "ultras detonate IED in ASSAM,goods train derailed" it can be stated that the tripartite agreement between the assam govt. ,government of india & BLT is a mere facewash for the people of Assam ,especially the BODO dominated area.It is a futile attempt to restore peace when one of the factions, the NDFB, is still involved in violent activities. It is sad that the peace attempt is half hearted at the cost of people & development. The negotiators should bring all the factions within the ambit of the peace process.Only then the people can hope for sustainable peaceful conditions. It is time proactive steps towards peace are undertaken & a humanitarian approach towards sensitive ethnic issues in the region.
