I do accept sincerely that the muslims are creating havoc but where are we christians either protected. Why is there so much cry about hindus-muslims when hindus & muslims have been comfortably been living together. why not try to built a better india rather than demolishing and showing might and superiority. Which God would like people worshipping him/her whose hand are blood stained with bloods of innocent people. if they are really criminals then shoot them at sight or finish trials soon. why are they left in open to harass us back again. The majority of people are on their side eating their money too. as long as this things progress we can never built a better India.

Dear Sir,
This is in response to an article I read on indiainfo where the Pakistan Foreign minister cited India's move to acquire new generation weapons systems as having forced pakistan to do the same.

Pakistan is a small country with small borders to defend. Its economy is small and crumbling. India has more powerful neighbours than Pakistan to worry about. If India decides to upgrade its arms, it is justified.

Pakistan cannot match every new set of arms that India buys/develops for the sole reason that they cannot afford it. In case they artificially try to pump out money from the economy into the military, the economy will soon crumble.

They'll have arms to defend but no state to defend.

I therefore, find arguments for balance of power in this region, ludicrous.

It is a path to doom Pakistan is taking.

Sir,
This has reference to the article titled "Is it a sin to be born as a Kannadiga in Karnataka?" By Venkatesh M S Thursday, September 11 2003 15:15 Hrs (IST)

I fully agree with and endorse the views expressed so lucidly by MS Venkatesh. Its no great surprise that Kannadigas are outnumbered in their own land...... just go to City Market, SJP Road, SP Road and you will feel as if you are in an alien land...... you can manage even if u don't know Kannada...but you need to necessarily know Hindi, Tamil or Urdu!!!!

And same is the case with all Central Govt offices. The Trilingual formula is only on paper.... its only Tamil or Malayalam or Hindi that moves the paper mountains here....

And Hindi is accorded top priority despite the rule making it mandatory that the local language (Kannada) should be given the primary status. And no wonder that when you enter a central government office you will feel like an outsider... and the way they treat you..if you are a localite turns the knife in your gut.

I have wondered why things have come to such a pass in Karnataka...and more so in Bangalore. The sole reason is that Kannadigas have no self respect....they allow anybody and everybody to trample on them.....they crawl when they are required to just bow..... I am ashamed to say this... but Kannadigas are lazy.... lethargic.... and the "adjust madkolli" attitude is deeply ingrained in them.... they avoid risk taking and would let somebody hold the dirty end of the stick!

Fortunately we have a Dr. Raj or Vatal Nagaraj or a G Narayanakumar or a Sa Ra Govindu... but are these so called leaders not selfish..having their own axes to grind?

And the less said the better about the Kannada Development Authority.....Kannadigas need a mighty jolt to invigorate them...to drive some sense.... a re-awakening like what happened during the Gokak agitation.....

Will it ever come????

Hello Editorji It is simply harassing a woman/SC. can upper caste people amass Crores of Rupees. Will anybody question them? Can anybody go in depth, into how they got the money.

Whoever is "RICH",happens only by cheating Legally(Capitalism) /illegally. The sufferers are the poor, though they are the working class ,satisfying with whatever they get.

Is it the privilege of the Upper caste People to be Rich and the Lower Caste (categorised by MANU) people have to serve them for "GENERATIONS"

It is very unfortunate thing that The Legend Of freedom Fighter Netaji Subhashchandra Bose are till not identify by Govt of India.Netaji had done a lot of things for India. Is it true or not that after freedom he is One of the most expected prime minister of India? Nehru gets only one vote of himself in the meeting of all india congress for selecting first prime minister.& that time Netaji was get in Accident.I don't believe that it is accident. This is my opinion that he may be murdered for Post of PM. I am requesting to Govt of India Through India Info.com That The real History Of India's Freedom Struggle must be come out.We Never think that Mr Nehru is the right person in the chair of PM but due to Mr Gandhi he was sitting there May be due to this incident Netaji is not intrested in formation of Indian govt.

Again I am Requesting to Govt Open all the secrets of Gumnami Baba whether he is Netaji Or Not.& Find Out All The Truth About this.& declare who is responssible for this.

As usual we treat this scam as politically colored one. Because, it would be once again the political parties who are in race to score points against their rivals. Since, opposition and position parties are on record indulging in corrupt deals as and when they are in power, their intervention in the present scam is also unwelcome. None of these major parties have moral right to accuse the other and thus try to dilute the issue. But then, some body has to raise the issue and keep it alive till it awakens the people. To that extent we should welcome their role in the episode. Beyond that they need not raise. For, it is the people and the civil society which should follow it up to its logical end. Only then, we the people who would be gainers or else losers. Since we are to gain everything and lose nothing if such scams are unearthed and eliminated once for all, we should tighten our belts and declare war against such evil practices.

The so -called Arab world has no right to comment on Indo-Israeli relationships. How has association with the Arab world helped India so far? They have not bothered to restrain Pakistan from sponsoring terrorism in India in return for India espousing the Palestinian cause. India should do exactly what the Arabs fear; an Indo-Israeli- US axis to combat the Muslim Axis of Evil, which has been not spared India as well. What should have been done long back, hopefully is being done now. Well, better late than never. But BJP should make sure things move faster and the heat is turned on for Islamic fundamentalists. There is nothing wrong in associating with the US now. Even if they have stepped out of their line in invading Iraq, at least they have the balls to openly combat the muslims. Something which Indian rulers will never have. Hope I am proved wrong.

Dear Editor,
No humanbeing is born as terrorists. terrorism is nurtured by people who wanted to make monetary benefits from these acts. It is not fair to blame a sect or community in the name of terrorism. In India Muslims, Christians as well as hindus co-existed for centuries. If u take the history of Indian Freedom Fighting everybody has taken part in that. There were many Hindus as well as Muslims who worked hand in hand to get our freedom. There was no problem until we were fighting a common enemy tht's British. But once we got the freedom we started to kill ourselves.Actually we are treating the symptoms we are not treating the root cause. sectarian violence has always prevailed in India and it will continue until we keep a check on our politicians who are like parasites. We have to fight our politicians which will inturn curtail the terrorists activities in India. The violence in Gujarath is the result of political vendetta. So we cannot blame any communities for this.

Dear Editor,
It looks like Sonia Gandhi is ready to take over as the PM of the country as she is seen here teaching the Agriculture Minister the basic economics of the proposals made by the poor and uneducated Minister and telling him that you are putting more on the table than you can even eat. The visitors coming from India here in New York are mostly bringing the news that the BJP is only dividing the nation on the basis of the religion and castes and for all this the Home Minister Advani is in hand and glove with the RSS and VHP and is responsible for all this polarisation but he is not scared of the PM who is afraid to take any action against Advani as otherwise his own kursee would be in danger. The PM is very very weak and is only interested in saving his chair and nothing else.

Sincerely
Krishan K Arora

VHP is spreading the venom for which there may not be any antidote. It will destroy the very foundation on which India was built.
