Aeroshow
Aero India 2005 will be held between Feb 9-13, 2005 at Yelahanka, Bangalore. The biggest ever event of its kind in this region is being organised by department of Defence Production, Ministry of defence in close cooperation with the Indian Armed Forces, the Defence Research and Development Organisation and the Ministry of Civil Aviation

Aero India 2005 is expected to be exciting with reports indicating that US F 16s pitted against the Russian MiG-29 MRCA, the latest version of the MiG-29, the SAAB Grippen and the Mirage-2000 for a share of the estimated $9 billion order to buy 126 fighter planes for the Indian Air Force (IAF).

Interestingly, the F-16 has not lost a single competition for fighter aircraft contracts but it remains to be seen how it fares in India as it would match its skills with its two arch-rivals in the fighter aircraft business - the Sukhoi 30 and the MiG-29.

Aero India 2005 is expected to provide an ideal window of opportunities for Companies to network not only with Indian Industry but also to benefit from the sharing of expertise n the fields of R&D, production and product support with other global players.

Bangalore, which is now synonymous with Aero India is also a popular business destination that is fast becoming one of the major international hubs of the Aviation, Aerospace and Information Technology industries.
