'Ram rajya, temple and Hindu rashtra top VHP agenda'
Sunday, July 20 2003 15:15 Hrs (IST)

Thane: Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) international general secretary Praveen Togadia has said the only solution to construction of Ram temple at Ayodhya was introduction of an act in Parliament.

He was speaking to reporters after inaugurating Konkan division conference of VHP on July 19.

Togadia urged Congress president Sonia Gandhi, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) supremo Sharad Pawar and Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav, respectively to support the passing of legislation in Parliament on construction of Ram temple at Ayodhya.

He said the three issues top most on VHP's agenda were establishment of "Ram rajya, construction of Ram temple and a Hindu rashtra".

Meanwhile, at another function Togadia distributed miniature trishuls as a symbolic gesture to VHP activists'.
