Hubli: Karnataka Chief Minister S M Krishna on November 26 said that the Cauvery
River Authority (CRA) meeting would be held on Nov 29, at New Delhi to resolve the
Cauvery water dispute.
"I am looking forward to the CRA meeting. This will be the first meeting of the CRA
after the Prime Minister ordered the Cauvery River Monitoring Committee (CMC) to
visit the reservoirs of both states (Karnataka and Tamil Nadu)," he told reporters.
"It is not a question of vindicating Karnataka's stand on the issue. The CRA has to
now take a view based on the factual report furnished by the CMC," he said.
"I am sure that the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister will attend the CRA meeting," he
added.
