Hyderabad: In an unusual turn of events, all major political parties in Andhra Pradesh have been rocked by dissent from cadre whose outbursts has come in full public glare in violent propositions mainly due to seat-sharing pacts and polarisation of various groups.

There have been such incidents one too many since the announcements of seat-sharing earlier this month by various parties and the party workers are going stronger with their discontent as the date for filing nomination draws closer.

Congress, which is having electoral tie-up for the first time in the State with TRS (Telangana Rashtra Samithi) and Left, is the worst-hit with cadre from various districts ransacking the party headquarters and resorting to vandalism in Mahaboobnagar district office to vent their ire over shifting winning seats to TRS.

TDP (Telugu Desam Party)-BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) poll pact too ran into rough weather with activists of the saffron brigade vandalising the state party office for swapping with Himayatnagar, the Malakpet Assembly seat, won by State BJP president N Indrasena Reddy last year.

TDP activists staged "dharnas" at the party headquarters "NTR Bhavan", protesting against the raw deal meted out to some of its leaders and gifting away winning seats to BJP.

TRS president K Chandrasekahar Rao was gheraoed at his residence by irate workers from Khammam, who were annoyed for not taking at least one Assembly seat in their district.

TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu maintains that the cadre has to respect the poll pact and indiscipline will be firmly dealt with while leaders of other parties contend that the dissent is being orchestrated by vested elements ahead of the nominations to send wrong signals.
