Hubli: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on December 20 demanded a Central Bureau of
Investigation (CBI) enquiry into the mysterious death of former Minister H Nagappa.
The judicial enquiry ordered by the state government was "not acceptable" to the
party, Opposition BJP leader in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly Jagadeesh Shettar
said.
Demanding the resignation of Chief Minister S M Krishna, Shettar said the CM should
resign on moral grounds as he had failed to save Nagappa.
The state unit of the party will hold 'Bangalore chalo' on December 26 in this
regard, he said.
