Wednesday, January 02, 2008 21:11 [IST]

musharraf_01Islamabad: Claiming that there are many conspiracy theories going around after Benazir Bhutto's assassination Pakistan President Pervez Musharaff today justifies the poll delay.

Nation has suffered a huge loss and the culprits should be brought to book, Mushraff said this while addressing the nation a sort while ago.

Addressing the nation for the first time after the assassination of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto Musharaff said, "We have initiated a probe into the Bhutto assassination and Britain’s Scotland Yard will assist into the investigation."

Musharaff also said even British Prime Minister Gordon Brown agreed to Pakistan's request for help in investigation.

Saying that there are a lot of anger in the country after Benazir's killing Musharraf urges people to clam down as culprits will be brought to book soon. "Commission will be set up to estimate losses in violence in Sindh," Musharraf added.
